Sinners Attire
The Brief
I had to produce a campaign based on Sinners Attire online presence. For this task, the objective was to create a single image, Instagram story and video that would promote a sale. I was given creative freedom to use both assets provided and assets from the Sinners Attire website.
The Advert
For the advert, I looked at adverts and videos the brand already had on their social media and youtube channel. I took these videos and removed the sections I needed in order to create an advert based on the 75% sale the company were offering at the time and the products that were involved in that sale. From there I put together the relevant footage, adding in various effects and information that would keep the viewer engaged whilst communicating the relevant brand promotions.
The Instagram Post
A single Instagram post creates a slightly harder challenge than a video as you don’t have the added benefit of music and moving images. To get around this I chose an image that I felt best communicated the style of Sinners Attire and also contained the most eye catching colours with a high contrast. Adding in a large opaque SALE sign would also help instantly get the relevant message across to the viewer whilst not taking focus away from the image itself.
