adidas GLITCH

is a new football boot and a new route to market. A mobile product and experience that was created, designed, and launched by POSSIBLE.

For this project I based my research around Adidas and their boot collection ‘Glitch’. I created two boot designs by looking at football as a sport and the shapes created during the game. My first design looks at the field of play and the path the ball takes when passed between the goalkeeper and other players on the pitch. My design mapped the lines of play in white which were then overlaid on a pattern of fading green to blue, depicting the pitch and sky. The design for the background was inspired by the rise of football over the years ‘the sky’s the limit’!

This design was a concept for a university project we did working with the adidas design team based in Germany.

The Glitch Advert

The glitch advert was not the main part of my project but is a piece of work I put together afterwards to help tell the story in a better way. This short advert is made up of a number of different videos I found about glitch, I cut and cropped them together in order to display the idea and concept around the Glitch Project.
